Father's Day

Better late then never I guess.
We had a blast on Fathers Day. We met up at Silver Fork Lodge for a scruptious breakfast.
Its kind of hard going out to eat with all of the little ones in the family, but still a lot of fun, and who doesnt like Silver Fork?

I couldnt be more proud of Mei Mei. She has sucessfully learned the art of making me look somewhere and shooting me with her straw wrapper...ahh Ive taught her well. For how timid and shy she can be she has a lot of good tricks up her sleeve to scare me, and it really works. The other day she hid in the linen closet & I had no idea. She jumped out and scared me and I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I love that girl. Anyway, back to Fathers Day breakfast..
Is this not the most precious face?

Can you see what I mean about it being hard to go out and eat?

After we got done eating, and just after a big rain fall we decided to head up to Silver Fork Lake and walk around the trail. While we were getting everyone in their cars I could see my dad and B doing something in the back of their car. They looked so mischevious so I went around to look. I dont know why, but I just thought this was so cute. Both guys, just chatting making baby bottles :)

Because it had just finished raining it was a bit chilly. But so beautiful!
I love my dad and am so grateful for all he has done for our family. He is such a great guy and I have the best time hanging out with him. His sense of humor is one of a kind and I love it.

I love this picture too

It was a really pretty walk.

Once we got to the other side of the lake there was a huge puddle. And of course Oakley went right for it. It was so funny. She didnt care.

Then she found some granola in her stroller and started feeding the chipmunks. It was so funny, they walked right up to her. One of them almost ripped her hand off.

Half way through our walk it started pouring and the wind was blowing really hard. We took cover here, and were all hiding under trees. My mom just kept saying to all of us hiding under the trees "Does anyone want some chocholate?" She was chilling on a log eating a candy bar.

After our walk my dad wanted to take us to this park that had a ton of plants and flowers. It was really beautiful, but it ended up pouring rain on us there too!

When it started to rain I was running behind my mom and ripped off her hood and stuck it on me. You can see the surprise on her face. Haha, I love it. She is a good sport.

This weekend I went and spend the night at my sisters house and we took the kids to the pool. We had one baby each. I got Millie most of the time and she was loving it. It was the babies first time in the pool and they both had a ton of fun.

I think we may have stayed in the pool too long. Look at these wrinkles!

One down, more fun to go!

Well I can cross one thing off the summer list-Firepit!
We had a little going away party for Emilee before she moved to California. Em loves burgers and we tried to find a place that had burgers and a lot of space. So she chose SkyBox.
We met up at SkyBox and had some dinner and then headed over to my parents for a fire pit, where we roasted some S'mores and had some cupcakes.

Some of Em's high school friends.
I think the best thing SkyBox had going for them was their water. The one glass we got of it while we were there.

Who is the freakazoid staring at me? Oh, Nate of course.

Check out the size of this burger!

I totally understand that working with a group of this size would be hard. But I do have to say, we had the worse service, all of our food was horrible, a lot of people didnt get what they ordered, they never were around for refills and they still tack on a huge tip automatically! But we were there for Em, and her having fun was all that mattered.

The night before her goodbye party I made some cupcakes. I wanted to make them
bright and colorful and I think I acheived it. I know its hard to see, but I placed the green ones in an "E" for Emiliee.

Not only did we enjoy the cupcakes, but we had fun with them!

When we first arrived my sister and her kids were there. Em got a pic holding the twins. So cute.

We also roasted some S'mores while listening to some tunes.

The group that came back for the firepit.

Check out these cool chairs my dad made...

Em has become such a great friend and I am really sad that she is gone, but so excited for her. Thanks Em for so many FUN, FUN times!

Things to do this summer...

After a very long and hard Fall & Winter I decided I am just going to have loads and loads of fun this summer. I am really excited about it.
I decided to make a list of some fun things I wanted to do. I put the list on the side of my blog. Anyone who wants to do any of these FUN things, let me know!
I will be adding more as I think of them, and then blogging about the things I get to cross off the list.
Bring on summer.

My week in a nutshell

First off, thanks everyone for your support through my rough hair experience.(See previous post to fully understand).
When I got home from work, I tried cutting more hair on my own to make them look a little longer and more full. It kind of worked, at least I now dare to go out in public. It will do until my hair gal gets back in town. Few...that was a rough one.

Some friends and I went to the Bees game on Wednesday. It was a super fun time.
I hadnt been to a game in years! Sabrina has a rockin car that would fit all of us, and we were all fasinated by the stadium seating.

My brother and his wife have this same car, and I love it. It fits tons of people, and you sit up high so you dont get car sick.
Thanks Sabs for driving!

Who knew that guys could do this...

The girls at the game.

Sher, Me,Em,Sabs,& Heidi
I ate way too much food. Heidi and I went to Olive Garden and splurged just a couple hours before the game (PS If you like Gnocchi, Olive Garden has Gnocchi soup that is really tasty) but it was $1 hot dog night so we had to get hot dogs. Then Heidi got nachos and made me eat half of them, and then Em and I saw the Kettle corn stand and had to have some of that too. The point is...I was up in the middle of the night sick, and the next day Em was too. So we either over ate, or those hot dogs were prob expired hence they were only a buck.

Sabs and Em taking full advantage of their hair..

On Thursday I went over to my friend Angis house. We made homemade BBQ chicken pizza that was the bomb. She made a really good whole wheat crust and I stole some cilantro out of my parents garden..yum.
Angi just got a new puppy named Charlie. It is so dang cute. But we thought it would be fun to have a puppy play date so Ecko and I hopped in the car and headed up north for some puppy time and pizza.
Charlie was so tiny and Ecko just couldnt figure out what it was. She is used to playing with big dogs so it took her awhile to open up.
Isnt she cute?

Ecko HATES having her tail touched, even by me, which is why I think when I took her to get her hair cut they left the tail long. But Charlie thought her tail was a play toy which was hilarious to us, but poor Ecko had had it.

I always see pictures of celebs holding their dogs, and girls taking their dogs in their purses. Angi was holding Charlie so cute, so I was like what the heck, I need a picute of holding my dog! She's heavy.

My dear friend Em is moving to Cali :( I will miss her tons, but Im so happy for her that she gets the oppurtunity. We decided to celebrate with a little sushi.
I dont know if anyone has eaten at The Naked Fish, but it was really good.
You have to take off your shoes and go up on this little plat form and sit on the floor at the low tables. I love it. The Veggie roll was really good.

Yummy food...

Gotta have one of these photos when working with chopsticks

After we had some food we were walking to the car, and these guys invited us in to the Grand Opening of their new Lounge. It was like 10:30 and we were the only ones in there haha. Em had fun dancing on the dance floor...alone.

It was a fun night. We will miss you Em!
