L-oser

I have a new talent. And I am really good at it. Watching Tv. I have become a couch potato. Yes, its true. I went years without having a TV or watching TV and it was horrible when people would talk about a show and I had no idea what they were talking about. I sat out of so many work, friend, family conversations because I just didnt watch TV, and didnt have a clue what they were talking about.
I am happy to announce to you all, I will be able to join all conversations now. I literally left my house once this weekend, and watched TV the WHOLE rest of the weekend. Loser, with a capital "L".
I have become quite smart though. Ive learned SO much. I now know not to lift my foot off the ground in a lift if I am ever going to be a famous ballroom dance. Ive learned from Dateline not to ever trust finacial investors because they will fake their own deaths and run with my money. Ive learned not trust single dads from Seattle or you might be dumped on national tele. Ive become really good at chewing sugar free Extra gum to curve my cravings from Bob the trainer on Biggest Loser.
See all these things I would have missed if I didnt watch all this TV?
The only thing I havent learned in my down time...to love 17 year old vampires. Sorry Em. I tried.
Now, if you will excuse me, I have big plans to watch Dancing with the Stars, so now if you want to talk about it later...count me in.

Eat this not that

So I have been on a diet for the last 6 weeks. I have the WORST eating habits as my chubby cheeks have shown this last year.
I love burgers, I LOVE pizza, I love yummy desserts. And not only do I love these things, I eat enough for like 4 people.
So as I have been on my new diet, and when I eat out with friends I always choose a salad. Turns out it might not be such a good decision.
Check out this video my friend sent me. Its like 5 min long but make sure and watch the whole thing. Its so crazy.

Catchin Up

This may be a long post.
I used to be so good at taking pictures of everything I used to do. Its been awhile, but my new months resolution is to start taking more photos like I used to.
I have been pretty down in the dumps the last couple weeks. So I have been trying to keep myself busy. My friend Em and one of our co-workers and friends were going to Vegas and invited me to tag along. I am not a huge fan of Vegas so I was hesitant but it ended up being a lot of fun.

There were 14 of us, and I only knew Em and Sabrina so it was a good chance to meet some new friends. Again...I didnt take a ton of pictures and I am so sad now. We rented an amazing place just 5 min from the strip. They turned into somewhat of a "Real World" theme. It was fun. The house we stayed in was super modern just like you see in the show, it rocked. I loved it.

A few of us eating some yummy caramel popcorn. Sabrina is on the left side with her leg up. We didnt know each other was posing like we were with our legs up. I thought it was funny.
Sabrina is super organized and fun. She put together these little pictures and info about all of us and put them on the wall so we could get to know each other.

We did lots of fun things. We shopped one day, went to a comedy club, saw a movie, played at the huge arcade( I wouldnt recommend it) and ate a TON. We went to In & Out burger a couple times.

One of the nights we went and listend to a band play for a couple hours. Em and I even stopped by the penny slots for a bit.
I hate to brag, but I did win 48 cents.

Dont let Em fool ya with all that money

I feel bad I dont have any pictures of the others. I have this new thing that I dont like to carry a purse and I didnt want to lug my camera around. But I did have fun with everyone and they were a fun group!
One of the nights Em decided at 2 in the morning she wanted her hair dyed. I have never dyed anyones hair before, let alone in the middle of the night. But I think it turned out pretty good!

(I have no idea why some of these pictures are small...oh well.)
The whole time I was in Vegas my phone didnt have one single bar of reception. It drove me half nuts, but I think it was really good for me. I went 4 whole days!
We wanted to drive right on straigh through but we both had to use the bathroom and fill up on gas. So we made one quick stop. I went inside and noticed the line was SO long. My phone was dead by now and I was so anxious to have my phone back. I opted not to use the ladies room and charge my phone instead.

Not one of my better choices. My phone ended up dying like 5 miles down the road and I thought I was not going to make it home to get to a bathroom. Wont happen again.
Next up...High school soccer.
My high school soccer days were some of the funnest times of my life. I would go back in a heart beat just for soccer. I made a lot of life long friends. But things do come up and people get busy. I hadnt seen some of the girls forever! So we got a few of them together to go to dinner. We ate some yummy La Fronterra goodness and chatted. I forgot (AGAIN!) to get my camera out until some of the girls had already left and we were all out in the parking lot ready to leave.

Brook(Stubs), Me, Heather, Ashley(Tycks). I love these girls.

These 2 were a little older then me in high school. I played Varsity my freshman year so they would sometimes come pick me up from middle school for practice. Wow, we had some fun times. Ashley and I ran out of gas twice in the same place. Stubs and I had an almost near crash when she forgot she was in reverse and had plans to go forward. Ah...fun times. Sorry to the other girls who I didnt get pictures of that night.
Here is a pictures of Heather and me. She was younger then me, and our goalie. We started playing indoor soccer about a year ago. I feel so lucky we reconnected. We have a lot of fun together, and she has a sweet hubby that lets her come out and play with the girls still. haha.

Next, Thai food. I love Thai food right now. I could eat it everyday. My friend Angi's sister went on her mission to Thailand and made a huge dinner for a group of us the other night.

Angi & Becky.
I didnt get a picture of the group of course, but thanks again Becky. She made a yummy curry, stir fry, pot stickers, pad thai and mango sticky rice. For like 10 people! She did an awesome job. Of course, Em and I had to snag a corny picture like always while we all chatted after

Friday night my sister invited me over to her house for some homemade pizza, also a favorite, and to play the Wii Fit. I hadnt ever played it before. I had such a fun time. They kicked my butt in everything but it was such a good time.
Her kids are the freakin cutest in the world.

This lil stinker wanted to play with me at 3 in the morning. All the sudden I see this little 2 year old in my face saying...Come on bubba!
Here are the lil twins. For some reason my camera makes their eyes go weird.

I love them. They just have the happiest kids. Its so fun.
Once these kiddos went to bed me, CC, and B played the Wii fit for hours.

They had this game that was like a rollar coaster ride and you would have to lean your leg and lift to one side when it was turning and jump at certain times. It was killer fun.
Then B made yummy desserts of lime sherbet with sprite. Then they spoiled me with pancakes in the morning. Yum. Thanks guys.
Last but not least. Ecko.
When I had my old car I would let her and the dogs ride in the back seat of my car. And I decided never again. I just bought a car a couple months ago and decided to get an SUV so Ecko could ride in the back. I just hadnt ever taken her yet. So Saturday I got her some duck sheets and covered the whole back part, and then the back seat just in case she climbed over the top.
I dont think she loved it. She likes to be right close to me with her head and body half out the window. But she had a good time once we got down by the river...until she got bit in the face by another dog. I was so proud though, she didnt fight back. She has such a sweet heart.

And thats about it. Sorry again for the long post!
