Fun Weekend

I had a fun weekend. This Friday my work took us up to Park City as a reward for hitting some goals. We had the option to go sledding, skiing/snowboarding, or shopping and our company would pay for it. Last year I went shopping so this year I decided to go sledding! It was raining on our way up there and when we got to the tubing hill, it was kind of slushy and everyone was coming down the hill in slow motion. So we decided to go to the Alpine Coaster. Its kind of like a one man roller coaster, and it is Fu-un! I had been on it during the summer, but winter rocked. The track was all slippery so it gave you an extra rush wondering if your sled would come off the track.
The first time we went up we went solo and it was a ton of fun. When we got off, there was no one in line, so we asked if we could go again (even though you pay per ride). So we went again, this time we went in couples because they said it goes even faster.

Here is my Alpine coaster riding partner Angi...we were hauling butt. Im sure Angi's ears were dying by the end from me screaming. I was lovin it.

Then Saturday my friend Tiffany gathered us all for a lil mini reunion. I had a great group of high school friends. There were 11 or 12 of us that were always really close. We did everything together. Sleepovers, crazy dancing and singing moments, dressing up and looking for someone that stole my rockin hubcaps on my sweet 84 escort. Ahh good times. Well we of course all went our separate ways after high school but we still keep in touch every once in awhile. Not all of us were able to meet up Saturday but those that could went to Trolley Square for dinner.

I love these girls. All of them. It was so fun reminiscing of all our fun memories.

A couple of the girls are expecting babies and I am so excited for them. They are going to be amazing moms.

I had a blast with all of you girls and Im glad we are going to get together more often.
And I promise I will look for all of our crazy videos for next time ;)

The Run Around

Sometimes I get in these really spontaneos moods and sign up for random things. Example: Last year I signed up for the 45 mile bike ride...and I didnt even own a bike. This year, at almost the exact same time, I overheard this new guy at work talking about marathons. Hmmm. Sounds horrible. But I decided to sign up for the half marathon. I hate to run! So this is going to be very interesting and exciting.
Anyone wanna run it with me? Anyone? Anyone? It could be lots of fun, and we could get really skinny by literally running our butts off!

When I moved home from Hawaii I bought this little house and colorfied it. I think I just made up that word but this picture says it all. I painted every room a different bright color. It was a rockin bachelorette pad. This was the living room, and it looks like it just got finished being painted since the baseboards are still off.
