Mini mini horse

I have an amazing cousin that is blind, and when she was a little bit younger, they were talking about getting her a seeing eye dog. My uncle mentioned to me that they had heard about mini horses they are training to lead the blind.
My life has not been the same since. I have become a total big dreamer.
These horses are AWESOME!!! They are tiny horses that they train just like dogs. So these horses live inside your house and wear shoes!
They are called Reebucks he he

Check out these sweet horses!

This one is wearing shoes that look like high heels. How weird and totally awesome is that?

I had big dreams of owning one of these horses. I just could imagine driving down the street with Ecko sticking her head out of one window and my mini horse sticking it out the other.
When I met Russ, I knew he was a total keeper when he told me his dad had mini horses. Dreams do come true. His dads mini horse actually had a baby awhile back.
We got to go hang out with it.By the time we could go down to his parents it was already 2 weeks old but I actually HELD a horse!

Isnt it the tiniest little thing. And to think, it was even smaller when it was first born!

I love this picture

A whole field of mini horses. I seriously couldnt stop smiling.Field of dreams right there...

And then I met Mr T. This horse was hilarious, and also the dad to little baby Bella.
He was the fiestiest bugger. He was chasing the other horses and dogs, and charging the fence. It was hilarious to see a mean, little tiny horse. Supposidly he is the smallest mini in Utah. Dont let this picture fool you, he was so small and had all that crazy hair...so funny.

I think little Bella might have a bit of fire in her from her dad.

Summer Happenings

Its kind of hard to believe its summer right now. I am at my parents for Fathers day..in June, and he just built a fire in the fire place! Its COLD.
It sure doesnt feel like summer, but Its still been a fun time so far!

As I displayed on my blog, The Race For The Cure is close to my families heart.
We had a great time running it this year.
A little pre run stretch.

We generally walk it as a family, but since my sister and I were training for a half marathon all my brothers and sisters and myself ran it.
Our team, "Sole-Soul"

My Cousin Ashley comes down from Bear Lake every year to run it.

There's always tons and tons of people, but ironically, we run into my friend Lauren and her mom almost ever year. Her mom is a breast cancer survivor!

First year we've run in memory of our Grandma.

We had a great time and we helped raise a little more money to help the cause!

ECKO TURNED FIVE!

My little black pup turned 5. After the race for the cure we had a bit of a birthday party for her. Pizza and dog bone shaped cookies!

The girls got special dog shirts for the occasion.

The family loves Ecko Smecko..

Well I dont think Kaysie does, but she did give her a hug on her birthday. That was pretty big.

Thanks to everyone for the fun gifts! Ecko loves her new pink jersey

And I love the new pooper scooper picker upper. Clips right on to the ol belt buckle and if Ecko uses the ladies room I have something right there and handy.
In fact, we used it the next day on our bike ride through the park :)

SOCCER
I play on 2 teams. My womens team took first place last season, but we didnt do as well this round. We still had a great time. Go Sweaty Betty's!!
My Coed team, Bieber Fever went undefeated the whole season...until the championship.
We still had a great time and kicked some serious butt.

My Dad doesnt like to have a lot of attention on him, but it was his birthday the other day and I threw him an itty bitty surprise party. He loves Morelias mexican food so I invited him there for dinner and invited all of his sisters to tag along without him knowing it. It was a success and he wasnt even mad :)

I wanted to post about this A- Because my dad is freaking awesome and B- I found these incredibly cute cupcakes that I thought I would share because I think they would be super simple to make, and they are so cute for summer gatherings.
When I looked up a recipe online, I found one where they used brownies as the hamburger patty.

This picture makes me laugh. If this doesnt sell you on the idea of hamburger cupcakes I dont know what will.
